Is responsible for the successful recruitment of qualified personnel along all home care service lines and territories of the company. Perform Human Resources related duties at the professional level and may carry out responsibilities in some functional areas such as employee relations, training, orientation, benefits, and file maintenance.

Responsibilities

*Complies with PENN HIGHLANDS DUBOIS policies and procedures, accreditation agency requirements, and federal, state or local law and regulations

 
Demonstrate ability to recruit for a broad range of positions across all home care service lines filling positions within time frames designated by management.


Develop a recruitment plan for each recruitment need.


Attend career fairs and job fairs as recruitment needs dictate.


Advertise open positions through use of the organization’s website, employment websites, newspapers, social media, flyers, and mailings, etc.


Utilize creativity to source and recruit for open positions.


Ensure accurate job qualifications such as experience, education, and training are identified prior to initiating the recruitment process.


Create interview tools for each position to ensure hiring of most qualified individual.


Reviews resumes, conduct initial screenings, and schedules interviews of potential candidates for open positions with appropriate manager or supervisor.


Demonstrate ability to recruit for a broad range of positions across all home care service lines filling positions within time frames designated by management.


Develop a recruitment plan for each recruitment need.

Qualifications

 

  • ASSOCIATES DEGREE IN BUSINESS OR RELATED FIELD WITH ONE YEAR EXPERIENCE IN HUMAN RESOURCES REQUIRED -OR- A MINIMUM OF FIVE YEARS HUMAN RESOURCES EXPEREINCE REQUIRED.

  • PROFESSIONAL IN HUMAN RESOURCES CERTIFICATION (PHR) PREFERRED.

  • PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE OF COMMONLY USED CONCEPTS, PRACTICES, AND PROCEDURES WITHIN THE HR FIELD.

  • PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE OF FEDERAL AND STATE LABOR REQUIREMENTS.
